DIVE OPERATIONS IN THE BLOWHOLE CAVE QUAD BINKLEY CAVE SYSTEM, INDIANA.
Deep down in the south Indiana region, hundreds of Mississippian era cave systems tempt and beg for exploration by the few who endure through hours of mud sucking, slogging, and crawling through 54 degree water passage to reach a system that has passed 40 miles of surveyed cave. The Binkley System has many entrances and decades of dedicated exploration in some of the most nightmarish conditions. In the Blowhole Cave entrance to the Binkley System, a sump was blocking exploration for the most experienced of Binkley cavers and a dive operation was established. The events that occurred during this expedition will change every caver evolved and will never be forgotten.
